So many stories, so many moments, so many amazing dancers that have played pivotal roles in the story that so many have shaped and rightly have part ownership of. 
Turning ten needs to be a celebration fitting of a job well done by the hundreds of dancers who have done a swinging rock step at the many classes all over town in the pursuit of learning the art form we love called Lindy Hop. We hope you will join us and our team on this great occasion.

The emergence of the B# Big Band has been widely anticipated by jazz, swing and dance fans all around Melbourne. The B# Big Band guarantees to get toes a-tapping and hearts a-pounding. The B# Big band bring you the music and professionalism of the great swingin’ Big Bands – Basie, Ellington, Lionel Hampton, Harry James, Gene Krupa, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Ray Anthony, Harry Connick and others. These guys are our benchmark because millions of everyday folk know that their infectious arrangements are a sure-fire antidote to the trickiness of life.
After the excitement of the 10th anniversary ball has worn off, make sure to join us for a drink somewhere in the city... There will be no After Party!

a. Can I Buy a Ticket on the Night?
NO... You can only pre-purchase tickets through ticketek Australia, we will not be selling ANY tickets on the night. Simply purchase your ticket online or visit your nearest ticketek but make sure to keep your ticket safe as we cannot and will not be in a position to honour any lost tickets before the night!

b. Can I Bring Food or Drinks into the Hall?
No.. As part of our contract with Melbourne Town Hall and Epicure, guests are not permitted to bring any food or drink into the hall with them. If you need to eat a full meal beforehand please do so. Epicure will have a bar area functioning on the night and drinks (beer, wine and soft drinks) will be available to be purchased through-out the night.
c. Table Seating
Your ticket doesn't not guarantee you a specific seat during the evening. There will be tables around the venue but these are not reserved or regarded as permanent seating for anyone throughout the night.
d. What Do I Wear?
In contrast to our other events, our 10th anniversary Birthday Ball is strictly after dinner attire. Dinner attire includes tuxedo's, dinner suits, dresses and cocktail clothing. We will have a strict rule of no t-shirts or jeans on this occasion, so make sure not to be stuck outside.... Simply dress up!
